I am a retired police officer with 27 years law enforcement experience. In the summer of 2019 just prior to retiring, the seeds of my first novel were planted while working the midnight shift. Soon after the initial idea, I started making the notes that would eventually become "Knights on the Graveyard Watch." So welcome! I will be posting information about the release of my first novel as well as provide links to other titles available from my publisher, and assorted tidbits about my writing process and headaches.
I will list events here, so check back often!
Veteran Officer Danilo Venko, is an overweight, white dinosaur knocking on the door of 50 working the graveyard shift in the beleaguered 7th Precinct under an oppressive commander. It couldn’t get much worse and yet it does. Venko is assigned to train rookie Officer Marcus McGhee, an African American Gen Z member who spends more time watching his phone than the streets. The pair are assigned the cold cases of two missing teens abducted 27 years apart by the same suspect that vanished after both incidents. They discover their kidnapper has recently reappeared and snatched another teen only to release him ten minutes later, unharmed with no memory of the event. A winding chase leads them to a retired one-legged detective, a toxic industrial plant, and a cover up before the shocking conclusion.

Dan is a friend, adviser and all around Yoda to this first time author. His book, Dead in River Valley is excellent. Check out the link to his page below.
Christy's book, Erie Ending is already out and the link to her page is below. She is published by Camel Press. Camel Press and my publisher, Coffeetown Press are both imprints of Epicenter Press. Christy has graciously taken a hundred or so of my questions to prepare me for my launch in August. Thanks!
Send me a message or ask me a question using this form. I will do my best to get back to you soon!
